The pumpkin is not only popular when it is hollowed out, but also as food. But what to do when the pumpkin is blooming but not bearing fruit.

You notice this quickly when the plants get flowers, but these flowers don't develop fruit heads and fade again. Then something is wrong.
Tip 1 - Fertilize
And that's where you come in. The reason for the sparse yield is usually the soil that lacks fertilizer. This means that you should always loosen the soil around the pumpkin plants and provide the soil with a slow-acting vegetable fertilizer (e.g. horn semolina).
Tip 2 - location sun
The plants should also be in the sun, as they do not thrive in the shade. If you follow these two little tips, you can harvest wonderful pumpkins and courgettes in autumn.
