Recipe 1 - Ginger Smoothie with Mango

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small mango
  • approx. 20 g grated ginger
  • 1/4 l orange juice
  • 200 g plain yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

Preparation:

Core the mango and cut the flesh into large cubes. Then add to a blender along with the peeled ginger and puree. Gradually add orange juice, yoghurt, honey and lime juice and continue blending until the smoothie has a consistency that is not too thick but slightly creamy. Season to taste and serve with ice cubes.

Recipe 2 - Ginger Smoothie with Carrots

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • approx. 20 g freshly grated ginger
  • 2 - 3 bananas
  • 1/4 l carrot juice
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 100 g plain yoghurt
  • approx. 2 tablespoons crushed ice

Preparation:

Cut the bananas into large pieces and put them in a blender with all the ingredients except for the lemon juice or puree them with a hand blender. Finally add the lemon juice and taste.

Recipe 3 - Ginger Kiwi Smoothie:

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small mango
  • 20 g grated ginger
  • 2 - 3 kiwis
  • 4 oranges or 1/4 liter orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 - 2 tbsp honey
  • Ice cubes or crushed ice

Preparation:

Peel the mango and kiwis and cut into small pieces. Squeeze the oranges if you don't use orange juice. Put all the ingredients, including the ice cubes, in a blender, puree thoroughly and taste when everything is well mixed and no large chunks are visible.
