In summer there is nothing nicer than having a barbecue with family or friends in the garden and letting the evening fade away together. With an appealing lighting, your guests will feel really comfortable with you.
In the following, I'll give you a few tips on how you can set the stage for your garden with the right lighting.
Atmospheric lighting for a feel-good atmosphere
If you want to create an atmospheric atmosphere with the use of lights, you should always keep one thing in mind: less is more! If you use too many light sources in your garden, it will quickly appear overloaded and no longer comfortable at all. If you keep this in mind, there are no limits to your design ideas.
To make the design easier for you, I have a few ideas on how to conjure up an atmospheric atmosphere.
Lighting the garden pond like a fairy tale
If you own a garden pond, you can create a fairytale sight with the right lighting. Here you can play with different light effects for a particularly great effect. For example, an illuminated water feature with changing colors is a good idea. Luminous balls that act like soap bubbles on the water are particularly effective.
If you don't like it quite so romantic, but still want to put your pond in the limelight, you can simply install spotlights under water that selectively illuminate the water surface from below. Or simply illuminate the edge of the pond with a waterproof chain of lights.
Flickering fire creates romantic atmosphere
For many, candles are the epitome of romance. If you want to create such an atmosphere in the garden, you can rely on flickering fire. This can be used particularly well in the form of lanterns and lanterns to illuminate the terrace. Lanterns also cut a fine figure in trees or along roadsides and radiate a very special lightCharm.
Warning: I would rather advise against garden torches. Although these spread a pleasantly romantic atmosphere, they can fall over and cause a fire.
Moonlights in the garden bed
Have you ever heard of the so-called moonlights? These are solar powered flares in different sizes and colors. They are great for showing off your garden beds in the dark. Simply place them between your plants and let yourself be surprised by the enchanting effect.

You can also create a nice mood by specifically illuminating certain objects in your garden.
