» transplant:
Peonies are sedentary plants. They don't like changing places at all and can quickly die. So it's best to leave your peonies where they are.
» grooming cut:
When you trim the peonies, be careful not to trim too much. Otherwise they can die quickly. Therefore, only remove wilted areas. It is best to use a clipper for this.
» Fertilizer:
Peonies are one of the most demanding plants and need a lot of nutrients in order to be able to fully develop their blooms. It is best to use organic fertilizers such as compost or horn shavings. Work the fertilizer carefully into the soil with a claw, being careful not to damage the roots.
» Floor:
If the soil is too firm and does not allow moisture to penetrate, your plant will not be able to absorb all the nutrients it needs. Therefore, use loose and permeable soil such as gravel.
» Location:
The peony is a real sun worshiper. If it's in a shady spot, it's likely to die. So always make sure your plant gets enough sunlight.
