Some look forward to pumpkin season all year round. I count myself among them without a doubt. I can hardly wait when there are finally pumpkins on the supermarket shelves again or I can get fresh pumpkins at the weekly market.
On the one hand, of course, that I can carve funny faces into the fruit with my children and on the other hand, to cook fresh pumpkin soup.
I always like to try out the ingredients a bit, but I still like the version in the video best. Everything is just perfectly matched. This soup is guaranteed to get even little cooking muffles. ?
Have fun trying it out and enjoying it!!!
» My tip: Roasted pumpkin seeds are a little treat on top. Mmmm… .
Did you know?
The pumpkin pulp provides a lot of fiber and has only 27kcal per 100 g pulp. The large round fruit is therefore ideal during a diet. It is also an essential vegetable for diabetics as it drains toxins and balances blood sugar levels.
But that's not all. The small seeds inside the pumpkin are not only a delicious snack as an alternative to chips & Co, they also provide a lot of vitamin E and linoleic acid in oil. These ingredients can prevent cardiovascular disease and lower cholesterol.
