You have to follow a few rules
When winter has arrived in your home garden, Father Frost does the rest and snow is still falling, then the time has come to let the garden rest and to treat yourself to a little break. Nevertheless, you should follow a few rules in winter so that your garden can survive it well.
Garden in winter - follow these rules
Rule No. 1:
You should never walk on the lawn when it is freezing. The frozen blades of grass snap off. Once winter is over, these areas are very often brown.
Rule 2:
Also, snow removed from the path with a snow shovel should not be stored on the lawn. The lawn can die under such a thick blanket of snow, even if it only melts slowly. Surely it will grow back in the spring, but that takes a while. So they have to store all that snow somewhere else.
Rule 3:
Finally, don't rearrange piles of leaves or poke around in the compost. The simple reason for this is that animals that would otherwise be disturbed often hibernate there.
