There are many things from the kitchen that you can use as plant fertilizer. For example, coffee grounds, egg shells, tea and, among other things, milk. Roses and tomatoes in particular, but also all types of ferns, usually absorb the amino acids contained in the milk with their roots and thus thrive much better.
This natural fertilizer should even work against fungal infestation. This is one reason why milk is often touted as a pesticide. Among other things, it is said to help with leaf curl on peach trees and nectarine trees. You can also use milk to prevent powdery mildew diseases on many plants.
Using milk for crop protection - That's how it's done
If you also want to fertilize your plants with milk, you should use fresh milk in a mixing ratio of 1:8 (8 parts water). Fresh because, unlike UHT milk, it still contains the required microorganisms. To do this, simply take the remaining milk from the bottle, dilute it with water and spray the respective plants with it. In this way, the milk bottle is also rinsed out in a sensible way.
