Conifers are a great change in the garden. They delight every gardener in the most diverse shades of green. From yellow-green to green-blue everything is included. And they are completely different in size. The false cypress and juniper are particularly popular and popular for perennial beds.
Planting time for conifers
To ensure that the conifers grow well, late summer or early autumn is the best time of year to plant them. They still have to root before winter, so you shouldn't plant them too late, but also not too early, because the small plants don't tolerate high heat yet. They also need a lot of water.
Dig the planting hole
You have to dig out the planting hole twice as big. However, you should not plant the conifer any deeper than it was in the pot. Before that, you need to put the plant in a bucket of water until no more air bubbles rise. Fill the planting hole with excavated soil mixed with compost. Finally, water vigorously and create a watering trough around the trunk.
