In a garden where a lot of work is done with wood, there are inevitably various leftovers. Some pieces are slightly larger, some smaller, some round, some square. Regardless of the size of the leftovers, the same thing usually happens: they are thrown into the fire bowl. These remnants are far too valuable to provide a cozy warmth.
If you plan something new out of wood, you often buy something new. An upcycling project that I discovered on ZDF during the Volle Kanne show shows that this doesn't have to be the case. Admittedly, when I saw this huge stack of leftover wood, I didn't realize what really useful things you could still conjure up out of it. In addition to the wood, you also need the right tools. But every well-equipped gardener and wood lover has most of it at home anyway.
In the show, some projects were conjured up for the four walls, but these can also be used wonderfully for the garden. You just have to remember to process the wood accordingly, i.e. to varnish it. Instructions can be found here.
Have fun upcycling!!!
