It is often the case that the nasturtium grows well but does not bloom. For the nasturtium to bloom again, it needs a sunny spot and little fertilizer.
The nasturtium shows itself to be sensitive if it is fertilized too often or too much. So if the nasturtium is in soil with a lot of nutrients, it may well be that it grows regularly and well, but also that the nasturtium does not bloom.
1. Do not fertilize nasturtiums so much
If fertilizer is added regularly when watering, the nasturtium suffers from an oversupply of nutrients, which ultimately causes flowering to fail. Apparently it's hard to please her.
2. A sunny location for the nasturtiumThe correct location of the plant is also important for the nasturtium and its thriving in terms of growth and flowering. The cress can only develop really bright colors in the flowers if it is in a very sunny place. If the cress is planted in a heavily shaded area, it will either not flower, become very sparse or have very few colours.
If the location and fertilization requirements are met, the nasturtium is otherwise an uncomplicated plant in the home garden.
