The anemone (Anemonastrum) comes in many different colors and sizes, for sun and shade and for almost every month - from spring to autumn.
There is something for every taste
So that you can choose the prettiest anemones for every season, we have made a nice selection here. There should be just the right thing for almost every taste.
- For the months of March, April and May we recommend the varieties Balkan anemone and Bush anemone. Both bloom white, blue or pink and grow up to 20 centimeters high. The Balkan anemone loves sun to partial shade, the bush anemone can also be planted in the shade.
- From May to June, the Bach Anemone, which can grow up to one meter tall, delights with white to violet flowers. She likes to stand by the water's edge and likes the sun.
- The Canadian anemone, on the other hand, blooms in June and July with wonderful white flowers. It grows up to 40 centimeters high and likes sun to partial shade.
- From August to October it is best to plant the felt-leaved or the Japanese autumn anemone. Both bloom in a wide variety of colors, grow up to 120 centimeters tall and prefer to stand in the sun.
As you can see, there is just the right thing for your garden for both a sunny and a shady spot.
