Clean the lawn mower

Caution for petrol engines: Always remove the spark plug cap when performing maintenance on your lawnmower.
Care for the lawnmower
Once you have removed all the dirt, it's time to take care of the lawnmower. Then you should lubricate all moving parts with oil to keep them supple and smooth. The air filter should also be replaced once a year.
When you're about to put your lawn mower through its paces, you should also check to see if the cutting blade needs sharpening. If you find rust spots, you should treat them and repaint the areas.
Storage the lawn mower
So that your lawn mower is not damaged, you should store it in a dry place over the winter. One job that you should not forget - but only in the spring - is changing the oil. This will significantly increase the life of the lawnmower.
