Yellow and Blue Insect Trapping Boards
There really are a lot of vermin. They crawl and swear on the ground and attack from below, but they also fly through the air and attack from above. Very often yellow and blue catch plates are used here, which are preferably hung in trees or on bushes.
What insects are attracted?
The boards are coated with an insect glue to which the pests stick. If the panels are yellow, leaf miners, whiteflies, aphids and fungus gnats are particularly attracted. The blue panels are mostly used against thrips. You should also take precautions in greenhouses and conservatories, because infestations can also occur there.
Warning: If you use the panels outdoors, you should not leave them hanging for too long, as these panels also attract beneficial insects.
