A wide variety of dishes can be conjured up from beetroot. For example, beetroot fries are prepared in no time at all.
Beets have a slightly earthy taste, which is why the tuber is not popular with many people. Those who like this taste, on the other hand, like to conjure up some delicacies from it. For example beetroot chips. Others conjure up fries from it. The good thing: the beetroot not only tastes great fried, it also adds color to the plate.Ingredients:
- 3 beetroot
- 2 liters of frying oil
- S alt
- pepper
Preparation:
Rinse the beetroot briefly, remove the tips and peel using a vegetable peeler. Then cut the vegetables into thick slices and then into wider sticks to create the typical "chips shape". Then dry the fries with paper towels.
Fill the oil in the fryer and heat to 170 degrees. As soon as the temperature is reached, put the beetroot fries in the frying basket and fry the vegetables in it for a few minutes. Then lift the fries out of the oil, leave to stand briefly and put them back into the oil. If the fries still have a little bite, but are not too hard, then they are done. Then all you have to do is season them.
