  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 packet of mixed, frozen herbs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon s alt
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • possibly 1 - 2 tablespoons of mineral water

Preparation:

» Step 1:

In a bowl, combine the flour, milk, oil, baking powder, s alt, nutmeg and baking soda and knead the ingredients into a smooth dough using the dough hooks of a hand mixer or using a food processor. If the dough is still very sticky, simply add a little more flour or a tablespoon or two of mineral water.

» Step 2:

Peel the garlic cloves and press them through the garlic press. Then add the porridge and the frozen herbs to the dough and knead everything well.

» Step 3:

Now grease the loaf tin with a little oil and pour in the finished dough. Spread this evenly into the baking pan.

» Step 4:

Now the bread goes into the oven preheated to 200 degrees. It should now bake for 30 to 40 minutes. To prevent the crust from becoming too hard, simply place a cup filled with water in theOven. Alternatively, you can brush the bread with a little water from time to time.

Little tip:

Instead of bread, you can also conjure up great little garlic rolls from the dough. Simply scoop out small balls from the dough with a moistened tablespoon and then bake for about 10 minutes.
