Did you buy too many peppers or was the harvest very plentiful? Then you can simply freeze them and preserve them that way.

How to freeze peppers the right way
- Peppers are easy to freeze. While you have to blanch many other types of vegetables first, this is not the case with the pods. It is sufficient if you wash, clean and remove the seeds from the peppers. Skinning the peppers is also not necessary.
- Then it is advisable to cut the peppers into small pieces. This way you can use the pieces later for cooking.
- Then put the desired quantity of the pieces cut into small pieces in a freezer bag and freeze.
» Tip: It is also possible to freeze stuffed peppers, for example. Simply put them in a freezer-safe container and thaw and reheat if necessary.
Using Frozen Peppers
Since the cell structure of the peppers is destroyed when they are frozen, the pieces that are thawed out again are not quite as crisp. But they are great for cooking. In addition, you do not have to thaw the frozen pepper pieces before cooking. You can put them straight into the pot. This is practical and saves a lot of time.
