Frying peppers is actually not an art. Nevertheless, it can sometimes happen that it becomes too brown, for example. But not if you follow these instructions.

How to properly roast peppers
Step 1: Clean the peppers
First of all, you need to wash the peppers thoroughly. Then rub dry thoroughly with kitchen paper so that it does not splash in the pan later.
Step 2: Cut the peppers into strips
Then cut the desired amount of peppers into small strips, rings or bite-sized pieces. Before you do that, it might be important to know one thing: the roasting time of the pods depends on their size. Rings and strips of larger peppers, for example, take about a minute or two longer than the pieces of their smaller relatives.
Step 3: Fry the peppers
Now add about one to two tablespoons of cooking oil to a large frying pan. Then heat the oil over medium-high heat for a few minutes. Then add the prepared pieces of pepper. But don't leave the stove! You must now stand by the pan and stir the peppers frequently or they will burn.
Step 4: Season the peppers
After about four to seven minutes, when the peppers are fried until tender and crispy, they should be done and perfectly cooked. Then all you have to do is season the pieces with s alt and pepper. The whole thing also tastes particularly delicious if you fry some onions, garlic or herbs. With a little basil, for example, the whole thing gets a slightly Italian flavorTouch.
