How to spread bark mulch correctly

In principle, you should not apply the bark mulch in flower beds and under shrubs, hedges or trees higher than a layer of 5 centimeters. By using a rake or a small hand rake, you can easily distribute the mulch.
Important:
Applying bark mulch is less suitable if you have planted your garden beds with ground cover and if you are dealing with bed plants that have a particularly high lime requirement.
