Stone floors are mainly used on terraces or as a pavement. If you have laid this covering, which usually consists of slabs, correctly, then you will not have any problems. However, if important things are not taken into account, it can happen that the stone surface becomes slippery after rain. There can be two reasons for this.
- The slope in the surface is missing. If the stones are over a larger area, such as on a patio or in a yard, then there may be a lack of a slope for water to drain. Of course, this has to be taken into account during construction. A slope of 2% makes sense. That's two centimeters of height difference per meter.
- Especially when the panels are in the shade, a coating of algae and moss forms very quickly. If this is the case, then you have to use the scrubber more often. It is sufficient if you scrub with clear water, if you want to make it easier for yourself, you can also use appropriate agents. However, they don't cost that little and chemicals are also included.
