Do you also like to eat grapes? If you follow the tip below, you can even harvest grapes three times.
Do you like to eat grapes?
I guess everyone likes grapes. Not only in the form of wine, but also as a snack in between. Many gardens are home to grapes. The plants grow and climb up trellises, creating a natural canopy and a wonderful shelter from the sun. And when summer comes, you can already nibble on the first grapes.
Plant three different varieties
If you have space for several vines in your garden, you should consider planting three different varieties: the early, the mid-early and the late grapes. This has the advantage that you can harvest for up to two months.
Harvest and store grapes
When the grapes are ripe, simply cut off the entire vine with the secateurs. Also remove the broken and animal eaten grapes. You should always remove the vines with scissors and the stem, never pluck. Grapes are stored cool, preferably in the refrigerator. There you wrap the grapes in a damp kitchen towel. And then enjoy the fruit!
