Don't put too much lettuce

Supply the soil with calcium
To prevent crown rot from developing in the first place, the soil should always be well supplied with calcium. The water supply should also be sufficient so that the lettuce receives the nutrients, but waterlogging should be avoided. A high pH is good for he alth, so you need to check the soil regularly.
