Vegetables in the greenhouse or in the garden - a must for many hobby gardeners. However, there are a few things you need to be careful of when planting vegetables.
Choose the right distance
Because space is quite limited, we like to sow a little closer together. However, this is not recommended, because the plants need enough space to develop properly. Depending on the size sometimes more, sometimes less. If you don’t just lay out your garden as an ornamental garden, but also as a kitchen garden, you will certainly have tried to plant lettuce at some point. This is usually not difficult, but can also be disappointing if you don't keep the right distances. Because you can definitely do a lot wrong, even if many don't believe it at first. So that you always know the correct planting distances, here is an overview:
Lambs lettuce and cut lettuce: Launch lettuce should be planted 10 centimeters apart. Cut lettuce is also good at 10 centimetres.
Endive, lettuce and other leaf lettuces: Endive, lettuce and other leaf lettuces should be spaced 30 centimeters apart.
Radishes: At 15 centimetres, radishes can be found, the row spacing of which can be kept at 4 centimetres.
Parsley and spinach: Parsley should be 20 Be centimeters away from your neighbors, as must spinach.
Kohlrabi, radishes and winter onion sets: Kohlrabi, radishes and winter onion sets need a full 25 centimetres. The row spacing here is between 5 and 10 centimetres.
If you plant far enough apart, you can ultimately harvest more and richer because the plants develop better. They're also tastier.
