Anyone who likes geraniums will love the geranium tree. You can find out how to plant such a geranium tree here.
No new plant species
True gardeners have probably already noticed that a geranium tree is not a new plant species, but a decorative element that looks beautiful in every garden and also on terraces. So it's not a real tree. Rather, a large structure, similar to a tree, is made from several plants. Hence the name geranium tree.
Planting a geranium tree - step by step instructions
- First, buy or craft a frame made up of several platforms. This can be free-standing or attached to walls.
- The individual platforms now each get a flower pot. It looks particularly beautiful when the pots get bigger from top to bottom.
- To save yourself watering, you can now connect the pots to a water system so that the water is evenly distributed.
- Now just plant the geraniums (pay attention to hanging geraniums) and after just a few weeks the plants will merge and form a whole tree from several plants.
Of course, the whole thing not only works with geraniums, but also with all other hanging plants that grow luxuriantly and densely. Just give it a try.
