Deciduous tree or fruit tree?
The first thing to be clarified is whether the tree should bear fruit, i.e. plant an apple or cherry tree, or whether it should be a deciduous tree such as a maple or willow tree.
If you want to harvest fruit, you should choose a small tree. It is easier to get the fruit here and the tree does not grow excessively beyond the property lines.
Ornamental cherry, laburnum and vinegar tree
But ornamental trees also have their appeal. As a ball-cut hawthorn, this tree draws attention to itself with its shape. Depending on the size of the garden, you can also have a walnut tree planted. The fruits are very popular, especially in autumn.
If the garden only offers very little space and you don't want to put in so much work for care and harvest, you can plant an ornamental cherry. In spring it delights with a splendor of pink flowers and in autumn colorful leaves shine before winter comes. The laburnum or the vinegar tree can also be built into the garden ambience in a particularly pretty way.
