Children are particularly at risk in our everyday lives. Danger lurks everywhere, even in your own backyard. Whether it's the garden pond, garden tools or poisonous plants. It is therefore particularly important to safety for children in the garden.

But what to do? Lock up kids? clear everything? Avoid poisonous plants? None of that! The most important thing is to educate the children and show them the dangers. That's helped a lot. Nevertheless, in some cases one can and must of course take precautions.

  1. There is always a debate about putting poisonous plants in a garden frequented by children. Certainly you don't have to challenge it. On the other hand, many things are poisonous, so there are poisonous parts on tomatoes or potatoes (especially on the greens). And of course also in the great outdoors. You don't have to provoke it, but anyone who enlightens has already done a lot of things right.
  2. The garden pond is a magical attraction for the little ones. A grid just below the water surface can help here, but also a fence that you put around the pond.
  3. Tools or pesticides, fertilizers and the like should always be kept safe so that children cannot get to them.

If you follow these little tips, you can be sure that there are no dangers for the little ones in your own garden.
