The fungi then grow in or around the plant roots and support their growth. They also help the plant absorb nutrients and water. Sometimes these fungi also release plant hormones to help root growth.

Since the mycelial threads are finer than the roots of the plants, they can penetrate deeper into the soil and help any plant, whether it is a tree, shrub, flower and even grass. You enter into a symbiotic relationship with each plant. This means that both the plant and the fungus benefit from the relationship. Because while the fungus supplies the plant with nutrients, the fungus receives vital carbohydrates from the plant.
