What should not be missing in any garden is a neatly manicured lawn. Again and again, snow mold can spread in the lawn.
Circular brown spots on the lawn
If you want a well-groomed lawn in your garden, you have to do a lot to achieve it. The lawn must be mowed regularly and, of course, adequately cared for and fertilized. Nevertheless, it can always happen that the lawn is damaged. Snow mold is particularly widespread. Circular brown spots surrounded by a white border appear. The lawn gets this disease especially in winter, when it is very mild and damp. But snow mold can also appear during the rest of the year, preferably in shady and damp places.
Prevent snow mold in the lawn
You can prevent this by not sowing the lawn in the areas mentioned, for example. You should scarify your lawn twice a year so that it is well aerated. It is important that you pay attention to the quality when selecting the seeds. If you ever have snow mold in your garden, all you have to do is wait for a warmer period and it will usually disappear by itself. The only thing that helps here is to wait and drink tea.
