Potting soil is a dime a dozen. From cheap to expensive, everything is there. But which one is really good? The fact is that good potting soil does not necessarily have to be expensive.
Admittedly, when the same plant blooms much more magnificently in the neighbor's garden than in your own garden, you start to worry. What many do not know - it does not necessarily have to be due to regular care. The choice of potting soil alone can be decisive. The differences in quality between the individual types of potting soil are very large.
You could of course test your way through the individual varieties, but that should take some time. Marktcheck took on the task and tested cheap and expensive potting soil for us. I personally didn't expect the result. Just this much: Good doesn't always have to be expensive.
The contribution from the SWR broadcast is really recommendable. Also for those who thought they had already found their favorite soil.
