The so-called season bed is a very original idea. If you want to plant flowers for every season in your garden, then you should create such a bed.
Create a Seasonal Bed
To create a Seasonal Bed you need to divide a circle into twelve equal pieces. Of course it doesn't have to be a circle, a rectangular bed also looks very nice. You must now plant these twelve small beds depending on the season. The seasonal bed blooms in a different field every month. We have put together an overview of which plants you could use for your seasonal bed.
Flowers for All Seasons
January: Snowdrops and Christmas Roses
February: Crocus and Winterling
March: Daffodils and March Mugs
April: Tulips, carnations and alyssum
May: Bleeding heart, daphne and flower beds
June: Flower beds and lavender
July: Loyal to men and delphiniums
August : soapwort and summer gentian
September: heather and asters
October: chrysanthemums and ornamental gourds
November: male fern and hairgrass
December: Christmas roses and ivy
These plantings are of course only a suggestion. You can make something beautiful out of it yourself. This seasonal bed is particularly popular with children. If you then border it nicely with stones and decorate it with small accessories, maybe add a few lights, then the bed is a real eye-catcher in every garden.
