One of the most tiresome chores in the garden is raking leaves. However, there are three ways you can get the foliage under control.
A garden is beautiful, but it is also a lot of work. I'm not telling you anything new. There is work that you enjoy and work that is annoying. For many, the latter also includes the task of raking leaves. Of course it depends on how big the garden is. For small gardens this is quickly done, for large ones - well, you can imagine. There are three ways to get the foliage under control:
- The rake: The tried and tested method is of course strenuous and often tedious, but has the advantage that you can use it to move the leaves from the grass to the beds to protect flowers and plants from the cold temperatures. Also, this method is almost free.
- The leaf vacuum: A method that is becoming more and more popular. Simply suck up the leaves and have no more trouble with it. Disadvantages: It's very noisy, consumes gas and there is no longer a protective layer of leaves.
- Leaf Blower: This one is also popular. You can use it to quickly and easily clear the lawn of leaves and steer them onto the beds or pile them up. The downsides are that it's also expensive and runs on gas.
