A compost heap is all well and good, if only it didn't stink so much. Thermal composters don't do that. They offer more benefits anyway.
In the gardens you will increasingly come across a high-quality thermal composter, which guarantees much faster composting of organic garden and kitchen waste and at the same time can keep unwanted garden visitors such as raccoons away. But this is not the only reason why modern thermal composters are so popular. They offer even more advantages. This one in detail.

Thermal composters compost most green waste after just one season (sometimes even within just six months) due to heat build-up indoors, while using a conventional composter usually takes twice to three times as long.

When composting with a thermal composter, not only are insects kept in check, but unpleasant odors around the composting area are also significantly minimized at the same time, or with some models they even no longer occur at all.

The modern plastic housing of a thermal composter is available in different sizes and can therefore be easily adapted to the respective local requirements or the expected amount of compost.

On top of that, thermal composters are also available in different colours, often green, but also anthracite, black and brown. Some of them even have chic wood paneling or are made of durable thermal wood. In this way, they no longer have to lead a shadowy existence, but can be placed almost anywhere in the garden as a garden accessory.
Advantage 4 - No additions necessary to accelerate rotting:
When using a thermal composter, you can largely do without aids that accelerate the maturing process of the green waste into humus, or you should only use them very muchadd a small amount (e.g. lime). In this way, the acquisition costs are amortized after a very short period of use.
Advantage 5 - permanent location:
Thermal composters also ensure a permanent location, i.e. the compost no longer has to be turned over when using such a device (reading tip: Turn over compost - this is how it's done). And another advantage is described by the fact that even the finished hummus can be removed much more easily from the lower container area in a thermocomposter.
Advantage 6 - effective air circulation:
The integrated air circulation is extremely important for a thermal composter, which is guaranteed by numerous ventilation devices in the plastic housing. And the associated lid must always be closed again immediately after filling in green waste.
The air circulation prevents the formation of mold during the decomposition of green waste. At the same time, there is hardly any moisture in the interior of the composter, which ultimately leads to simplified removal of the humus soil.
