While some people have a bed of roses in their garden that really only contains roses, others want the queen of flowers like to combine with other plants. That's all well and good. Combinations with roses - 7 tips
- Lavender: Probably best suited in the vicinity of roses. Positive side effect: lavender drives away aphids!
- Catnip: Blooms purple from May to September. Attention: Catnip should be contained, otherwise it will become too rampant!
- Beard dandelion: It is worth planting the bearded dandelion for later flowering in the year, namely from August to the end of September.
- Pennisee grass: A nice contrast to the rose, which forms wonderful spikes of flowers from late summer.
- Larkspur: Similar in height to roses, blue flowers in June. If you cut back delphiniums after flowering, you will get a second flower in September.
- Lily: In summer, the great calyxes develop in a wide variety of colours.
