Do you have a conservatory? That's a great thing. But which plants do well in the conservatory?
Beds or pots? - Which is better?
One would think that planting a conservatory would be easy. But even when deciding whether to use beds or pots, good advice is expensive. Both have advantages and disadvantages. If you are already a little more experienced in planting, you should get beds. If you're still a beginner, get pots.
Advantages of potted plants
The advantage of potted plants is that in case of illness or pest infestation you can simply take the plants outside without infecting the others. You can also vary it better with pots, they don't have a fixed place and can therefore always be arranged differently. However, plants that are in pots usually have to be transplanted annually, otherwise the space will become too small.
Beds in the conservatory
If you opt for beds, however, then you need to know that the plants here will grow much larger than in pots . This is also the case with irrigation. It is easier to install an automatic watering system in the bed than in pots.
