The lawn grows into the bed and makes its way through the vegetables. Nobody wants that, so use one of our 4 tips to keep the lawn out of the bed.

Nothing is worse for a hobby gardener than a nicely laid out bed that the lawn is slowly but surely working its way into. The lawn is growing into the bed and you're just plucking, plucking, plucking. Or you don't let it get that far with one of our tips:
- Create demarcations
Inset stones can be used to create a pretty border between bed and lawn. Make sure that the stones are inserted deep enough, otherwise the grass will grow in under the stones. - Form a natural border
You can also keep the grass in check with plants that grow together to form small hedges. Box trees or lavender are particularly suitable for this. - Use bark mulch
It not only looks chic in the bed, but also reduces grass growth in the same. However, bark mulch needs to be replenished from time to time as it will naturally decompose. - Create lawn edges
Artificial elements can also be used. How about the nostalgic way? Looks pretty and the grass is calm
Not that difficult, is it? And even the optical is taken care of.
