Geraniums are popular balcony plants. Buying new plants every year can be expensive. Therefore our tip: multiply geraniums in 6 steps.

Propagating geraniums - this is how it works
- Simply cut off a shoot tip about 5 centimeters long that must not have any flowers.
- Remove the lower leaves from this shoot tip, leaving only the top two to three.
- Now these tips come in potting soil. Make sure that the tip is only inserted into the soil so far that the leaves are not covered, otherwise they can rot.
- Keep the cuttings warm and water them properly.
- After six weeks, roots have formed.
- They can then be transplanted into independent and larger pots next spring.
