If you want to grow and harvest your own vegetables, you should definitely pay attention to the sowing times for vegetables. March starts with carrots and spinach.

March
You can start very early in the year with carrots, lettuce, spinach and onions. March is the right month for this. You can still sow these four types of vegetables until April or May.
April
In April it's the turn of the leek, and peas also like to be planted in the spring. Although tomatoes do not belong to the vegetables but to the nightshade family, we would like to name them here because they appear most frequently in German gardens: Tomatoes should be sown in April or May at the latest.
May and June
May and June are reserved for beans, endive and kale.
July
In July it will be Chinese cabbage.
Radishes and spinach can be sown almost all year round.
