1. Winders:
These plants spiral around the trellis. That said, narrower support should suffice here. A string, a taut rope or thin wooden sticks are often sufficient.
2. Ranker:These are plants that hold on with vines. These "claws" grow on the side of the shoots and grab what they catch. A simple trellis or chain link fence will do just fine.
3. Attachment Root:
These plants, which include ivy and Virginia creeper, form small roots that they use to attach themselves to the ground. Such plants are suitable for house walls or you can choose a stable wooden construction or let the plant climb up a tree.
4. Roll:This includes climbing roses or wisteria. A stable framework should be used for this, around which the plants can loop without inhibitions.
